Spring in Poland is not just a change of season — it is a moment when the country is filled with colors, aromas, and flavors. That’s why we have collected the most interesting events worth planning your route around right now: from gastronomic dinners among vineyards to flower festivals in castles and meditative workshops in historic towns.
The Museum of Asia and the Pacific offers a rare type of experience — not about speed, but about slowing down. On April 25, a tea festival will take place here, where the culture of tea is revealed as an art form. Guests will be able to try dozens of varieties, from Japanese matcha to Chinese oolongs, watch traditional ceremonies, and take part in workshops. More details on social media
Just an hour from Warsaw, among rows of vineyards, one of the most atmospheric events of the season will take place. From May 1 to 3, Dworzno Winery invites you to a picnic, where you can enjoy a guided tour with tastings of local products and wines, food trucks, and a relaxing outdoor area. This is a perfect scenario for a spring weekend. Tickets are available here
The Jurassic landscapes near Kraków look especially cinematic in spring, especially during the Majówka Jura festival. During this May weekend (May 1–3), guests can enjoy winery tours, wine pairing workshops led by sommeliers, wine tastings, and a cozy picnic overlooking the vineyard hills. The number of places is limited, so make sure to book in advance.
Also during the May weekend, the small mountain town of Myślenice will turn into one of the most vibrant gastronomic spots in the region. The festival will bring together dozens of food trucks offering cuisines from around the world — from classics to creative interpretations. More details here
This is one of the strongest gastronomic experiences of the spring. On June 6, Jura Winery invites guests to an elegant dinner among the vineyards. The menu will be prepared by two chefs: Wiktor Kowalski — chef of the Michelin-recommended restaurant NOAH in Kraków, and Lena Flaten — creator of the Swedish project Flammans Skafferi. Together, they will combine local products with a Nordic culinary philosophy. Each course will be paired with a specially selected drink to fully reveal the flavors of the evening. You can reserve your place here
On April 26, the Owoce Lutyni gardens near Wrocław invite guests to the first spring garden lunch. Visitors can expect a picnic with desserts, local products, and activities for children. More details on social media
Winnica Silesian (April 26, May 10 and May 24) also opens its vineyard picnic season. This format is perfect for those who appreciate slow travel: relaxed walks, workshops, tastings, and gastronomy. It is an ideal option for a one-day trip and a peaceful escape from the city. Check dates and themes here
Of course, in the Dolny Śląsk region, you should not miss the annual flower festival at Książ Castle (April 30 – May 3, 2026). For a few days, the halls of the castle turn into a large-scale artistic installation filled with colors and scents. The theme of 2026 is “Odyseja czasu” — a journey through time, where each room becomes a separate story. Guests can expect a “medieval forest”, Empire-style compositions, projects inspired by the Enlightenment, and even futuristic interpretations. It is better to buy tickets in advance online
From May 15 to 17, the Odra river boulevard will turn into the largest open-air gastronomic venue in Poland during the Gastro Miasto festival. Three days, dozens of restaurants, cuisines from around the world, signature dishes, street food, and new concepts. Here you can eat, listen to music, join workshops, or simply spend an evening with a view of Ostrów Tumski. As part of Gastro Miasto, there will also be a dedicated wine zone — FLOW, featuring wineries from across Lower Silesia. More details here
After several successful years in Warsaw, the Targ Śniadaniowy concept is expanding and heading to the Baltic coast. Starting from May 16, every weekend at Plac Porozumienia Gdańskiego 1, a food market with regional breakfasts will be open, offering fresh pastries, local products, and coffee. This is not just a market — it is a city ritual. More details here
Two hours from Poznań, in the capital of Polish “Champagne”, the Otwartych Piwnic i Winnic festival will take place again (May 1–3). For a few days, more than 30 historic wine cellars in the city center will be open to visitors. The festival turns the city into a living wine map: you move between locations, taste different wines, learn their stories, and create your own gastronomic route. The atmosphere is enriched by concerts, cultural events, and special bus tours to regional wineries. Special attention should be given to the tasting format: participants receive a set with a glass, a map, and tasting portions that can be used in different locations. Entry to the cellars is free, and only tasting packages are paid. This year, the special guest will be Robert Makłowicz — one of the most well-known promoters of gastronomy and wine culture in Poland. The number of special tasting packages is limited, so don’t wait!
For those who want to dive into the history of the Wielkopolska region, we recommend the Festival of Slavic and Cistercian Culture in Ląd (June 6–7, 2026). On the grounds of a monastery dating back to the 12th century, an event will take place that brings guests into the times of the first Polish rulers. Visitors can expect battle reenactments, early music, and traditional crafts — all surrounded by baroque architecture and nature.
