Christmas markets are not the only way to experience the holiday spirit in Poland. This year, you can visit a magical toy store, enjoy dinner by the fireplace, immerse yourself in French-style Christmas at an amusement park, explore a gingerbread town, and admire enchanting installations in one of the country's largest castles.
Flora Point – A Dreamy Christmas Toy Store. Remember the toy store from "Home Alone 2" where Kevin found himself in New York City? Flora Point in Warsaw recreates that very scene. Poznań (until January 6). Poznań surprises visitors this year with an ice rink near the Town Hall and a market that continues to Freedom Square. Enjoy mulled wine in cozy wooden chalets, ride the carousel, and savor the city’s iconic St. Martin’s croissants.
Gdańsk (until December 23). Gdańsk’s Christmas market is among Europe’s finest. It takes over the entire city, transforming it into a festive wonderland filled with lights and the aromas of winter treats.
Katowice (until January 5). Katowice’s Christmas market is one of a kind, with fresh attractions every year. This season includes new rides, concerts, and trendy 360° photo domes. Don’t miss trying their local specialty: potato pie with black pudding.
